Codonopsis is a perennial climbing vine native to Central and Eastern Asia. This root was used in place of the more expensive Panax Ginseng and thus became known as the Poor Mans Ginseng. Energies of the Codonopsis Root are helping one retain balance, strength, boosting vitality and the Auric levels. This Root is used a lot in Chinese Medicines and known as a Yin tonic.
