(Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) Aka Bear Plant, Creashak, Kinnikinnick and Uva-ursi. Bearberry is found across circumboreal regions of the sub-Artic, Canada and North America.
The Berries are favoured by Bears but the whole plant is ideal for those who have Bear as an Animal Totem, Bear medicine or wish to seek the magick of Bear. Use Bearberry leaf in incense, magic and spells or amulets where courage, introspect and strength are called for. Many Native Americans used the leaf in smoking blends.
