A little herbal history note - Absinthe also known as the Green Fairy is that wonderfully historical bitter liqueur once banned as it was made from the notorious hallucinogenic Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) anise, fennel and other medicinal and culinary herbs. Enjoyed for its creative inspiration by the likes Oscar Wilde, Picasso and Van Gogh and also the wonderful Johnny Depp in the movie "From Hell."
Please note, their were no Absinthe drinking Cats for this mug nor picture!
