Oak is a tree of the God. The Druids used the sacred wood for their Midsummer fires to summon protection and bring them strength. White oak is used for courage, endurance, fertility, helps remove unnecessary burdens in one’s life and enhance wisdoms and connections from the earth, nature, wildlife and our ancestors. It is also used in making fine whiskey barrels. Oak is the masculine counterpart to the Birch Goddess.
