Aka Drumstick Tree, Horseradish tree, Miracle Tree, Moringa, Teberindo, Tree of Life. Native to the sub-Himalayan regions South Asia and Indian subcontinent.
A mythical plant said to cure any ailment. It is used in rituals and ceremonies to promote strength and vitality and a favourite of many warrior’s before going off to battle. A powerful plant that brings protection against dark and evil forces and spirits, it can be added to amulets and worn, or placed in the home above the thresholds. In some parts of the world it is used to purify the body and wash the deceased before burial.
